My Skincare Routine

Hey Everyone!

I have been obsessed with my new skincare routine, so today, I am finally going to do the post on it! This is one of my favorite types of posts to read, so I hope you all enjoy! I have been testing out a ton of new products, and I have come across my routine that is actually working for me. Here are my favorites!

In the morning, I start off with my Neutrogena oil free acne wash. I apply this before I even go downstairs, it is like my form on coffee! This cleanser really wakes me up because it has a really nice fresh grapefruit scent, but applying this first gives it a bit of a kick start.

Next, I like to apply a bit of my Clean and Clear morning burst facial cleanser. Okay, I know I just hauled this, but I promise, I have used it before! Incorporating this product back into my routine has really improved the look of my skin, it has a slight brightening effect to it. I like to use a couple of different cleansers that have different ingredients in them because they will target any skin problems when used together.

After that, I am going to use my favorite toner, which is the Clinique clarifying lotion. I must admit, the name for this confused me, because it is not anything close to a lotion. Even though that may be slightly misleading, it is still an amazing product! I just apply this with a cotton pad all over my face, and it is really refreshing. Out of the four options for this toner, 2 works best for me, but I would recommend testing them out. If you are trying this product for the first time, your skin might feel a little bit tingly. I love it, and it let's me know that the product is working!

Next I want to use something that will work on my skin while I am wearing makeup. Knowing how to cover up blemishes is essential, but you run the risk of clogging your pores. Knowing how to treat your skin is the key, so for this step I am using the neutrogena 3 in 1 treatment cream. This helps prevent your skin from breaking out as well as treating any current problems. I like to think of this product like a heat protectant for your hair, if you use heat on your hair, it an cause split ends, do why not try and protect it? Wearing makeup can clog your pores and in some cases cause acne, so why not do something to prevent it?

Some acne prevention products can be drying, so it is important to moisturize as well. Some people think that moisturizing is the cause to any imperfections, but dry skin can cause them as well. I am going to use a lighter moisturizer, and my favorite of the moment is the Clinique moisturizing gel. Also, when blending any product into your skin, pat it in instead of rubbing. Any form of tugging at your skin can cause pre-mature wrinkles, and since I haven't started using any age prevention products yet, I want to be as careful as I can!

The last product I use in the morning is to treat my undereye circles. I don't know if this counts as a skin are product, but I apply it before I out any makeup on, so I am putting it in here! I love the Clinique under eye roller for many reasons, but mainly because it reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness.

Those are all of the products I use in the morning, so these are the ones I use at night! The first product I use at night is my Aveeno positively radiant lathering cleanser. This is so inexpensive but it works so well! This takes off all of your makeup and works into an amazing lather.

If you ever get dry patches of skin, an exfoliator will be your new best friend. My favorite is inexpensive and effective, and it is the St. Ives apricot scrub. This stuff is amazing, I use about a dime sized drop and my skin is really soft after using it. I prefer to apply this in the shower because it will wash off easier and it will turn into a rich cleanser after you rub it in.

My last product that I use at night is my Clinique Turn around overnight moisturizer. I have been absolutely obsessed with this ever since I first tried it! My skin is has this glow to it without being oily. It is a little bit pricey, but a little goes a long way.

And that is my routine! I know it looks like a ton of products, but this is what I have been using! If you have any questions, feel free to ask it in the comments or email us at foreverfuchsia@gmail.com. Make sure to follow and tell me in the comments what your favorite products are, thanks for reading!

Target Haul!

Hey Everyone!

I was at Target today, and my first stop was the beauty area. Where else would I be? Anyways, I found some of my favorite products that I needed to repurchase, and I got some new ones to test out. Here are my new favorites!
My first product I picked up was the Clean and Clear morning burst skin brightening facial cleanser. I picked this up a while ago and I loved it, but I never got the chance to get another one. It caught my eye on the shelf, so I decided to get it. I really loved this because of the scent, it is so fresh and a little bit fruity, which is an awesome blend! This cleanser has little beads that are supposed to "awaken" your skin, but for me they just dissolve. The only problem I had with this was it made my skin a little tight, but after moisturizing, it was fine. Overall, this is still one of my favorites.

I decided to go ahead and get another set of my favorite Ardell lashes, these are the 105 black false eyelashes. I got these to mess around with, I have been working on making my eyes look bigger by using false lashes, so expect a post soon!

I was all out of my Redken Heat Protectant, so I got the Got2b guardian angel heat protectant. When I spray it on, I focus more on the ends and then move up, and then I brush through it to make sure it is evenly distributed.

I wanted a soft lavender to pair with my mac Bronze CCB, so I decided to get the Elf studio cream eyeshadow in Dawn. I was obsessed with these, they stayed on so long! I usually apply these with a 252 Mac brush, and then blend it out with a 217.

Next, I got the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain in Forbidden. I wanted something that I could layer products with, so I got this as a base. I love the color, it is like a soft reddish pink. I was using my Nyx lip liner in Peekaboo Neutral as a base 24/7, so I needed to give it a break!

I wanted a new top for tennis, so I picked up the C9 by Champion Pull Over top. I love these because you can actually breath in the summer weather, and you don't have to wear anything underneath them! I got it in the bright blue, and I am going to pair it with my white tennis skirt. I should do a workout outfit of the day!

I also got one of the C9 shirts in lime green. This one is fun because you mostly see whites in tennis, so I like to mix it up with a zesty lime!

And that is my haul! Make sure to follow and comment down below and tell me what your favorite workout top is. Make sure to follow if you haven't already, and thanks for reading!

Makeup Organization Tips

Hey Everyone!

I was re-arranging my room today, and I was looking through my makeup organization and storage. If you are a makeup artist with a kit, or a collector that is trying to squeeze it all into a bag, then this post is for you! My posts revolve around my vanity, it is where I swatch, play with color combinations, and put together all of my tips and tricks that I share with you. The reason I can do all of this is because my stash is fairly well organized! I have changed some drawers around here and there, but you can see my makeup collection and storage post by clicking this link. I am going to show you where I got everything in this, and my secret to staying organized!

My first item of organization is my nail polish rack. I got this for Christmas one year and I absolutely love it! I used it for its intended purpose for a while, but I like to mix things up, so I decided to put my Mac eyeshadows on it! My Mac eyeshadows were originally stuffed up in a drawer, and it was impossable to find the color that I was looking for because there was no natural light. This happened to be the perfect solution for it! I propped them up on the racks, giving me a ton of options. I started by color coding the ones from the regular line like they have them at the Mac store, and then I put the ones in the larger packaging on top.

My next favorite storage tip are my drawers. I kind of ran with the whole DIY vanity idea, so I needed more space to organize my collection. You can easily label these drawers, and I love how they are mostly shallow. These come in handy for storing your main cosmetic items, and then I use the deeper one for storing my makeup brush belts and anything else I need to take with me for storage on the go.

I cannot find the exact one that I have, but any of the three section trays are great for holding smaller products or lining up larger ones. I got a couple of these to store my mascara stash and lip products in. The best part is you can fit two of these in one of the drawers, so it makes it really easy to find the product you are looking for!

My next tip is to put your brushes in a jar or cup. I got mine monogrammed and filled it with little beads so the brushes will stay in their place. I got two so I could sort my eye brushes and face brushes, and that system has worked out pretty well for me. Keeping my brushes out like this reminds me to wash them, I was really slacking on that routine for a while!

If you want a smaller organizer but you like the idea of the drawers, use a smaller set! I had one of these, and I actually took the drawers out of this to use as separators inside my larger drawers. These come in a ton of sizes, so I would go online and see what is right for you!

If you are on the go a lot but you want to take your collection with you, I would highly recommend a train case. Train cases will keep all of your products organized, and most of all safe. Eyeshadows can easily crack when traveling, but if they are stored in a heavier case, it will keep them safe. This is a collection essential, especially for traveling!

So that is how I keep my collection organized! Make sure to check out my original collection post, and tell me in to comments what your go to organizer is. Follow us if you haven't already, and thanks for reading!

Stylish Shoes

Hello Readers!
I recently got a request to do a post on stylish shoes, that are okay for people with flat feet (which means no flats) and people with big feet. First off, sometimes people think that shoes get uglier the bigger the shoe size. That's not true, sometimes the shoes can look a little different, but that doesn't mean they are ugly! Second, some people think that if you can't wear flats to school that the only other thing there is is sneakers. Thats also not truw. So here are some shoes that have great support but are also super stylish!
The first shoe thay came to my mind is Sperry Topsiders. These look like flats, but they have great support and they are super cute. They are very popular right now! Sperry Topsider alo have a great selection of shoes so everyone will be able to find a pair they like. But Sperrys are also kind of expensive, most of them are arouond $70. If you want to get them cheaper, often stores will put them on sale! This style is called the angelfish and they some in many different colors and prints!

If you want I also suggest you look up the Bahama style! These also come in many different colors and prints.

I am actually friends with this person who requested this post. So I instantely imagined her in these converse. Converse are kind of in the middle, they aren't a flat, but they aren't excersizing sneakers. I like converse because they come in great bright colors and you can alo design your own!

If you want to know about more styles of shoes just comment and tell me and I would be happy to do it! Also feel free to request other posts!

Camera Couture Eyes

Hey Everyone!

I am really excited for today's post, because it is perfect for the days when you know you are going to be in a ton of pictures. Have you ever gotten a picture back and your face looks washed out? That has happened to me way to many times, and I finally decided to stop blaming the camera and change my makeup! In this post I will be telling you some tips and tricks that I have picked up to keep your glow and make your eyes stand out when you are in the spotlight.

You want to create a base under your shadows to ensure a long wearing look. For this step, I used my Mac paint pot in bare study to prime my eyes. This is a soft gold that looks amazing under any look! I applied this with a 217 brush to evenly distribute the product and create a layer of shimmer that will slightly pick up the light. In pictures, you have to be careful about how much shimmer you use. This gives you the perfect amount without going overboard!

Next, I want my lids to be more matte, so I am going to apply Naked pigment up to my crease. This color has the tiniest amount of shimmer in it, but it makes more of an impact that is matte. I applied this all over my lid with a  252 brush, and I put a little bit of water on the brush first to pick up the pigment more easily.
Next I wanted to define my crease. I used Embark with a 217 brush to build up the color in my crease. This really defines the eye, and by creating a shadow, it makes it look perfect for all of the different types of lighting you can be in for pictures. This color is great for all eye colors too, which is an extra bonus!
Next, I wanted to make it a little more fun by adding Trax to the top of Embark. I used a 219 pencil brush to almost line the top of the crease color and used Trax to blend it all upwards. You never want a thick layer of eyeshadow all the way up to your eyebrows, so make sure to smoke it out when you are blending up.
Next, I wanted to make sure this will show up in the brightest lighting, so I took a little bit of Typographic eyeshadow and applied this with a 213 to my outer corner. I used a 213 so I could blend as I went along, and this really brought out the shape of my eyes.
And to finish up the shadows, I applied Blanc Type to my brow bone with a 224 and in my inner corners with a clean 219 pencil brush. Not only will this open up your eyes, but now we have a ton of different finishes, which makes the lighting for pictures your new best friend!

Now it is time to do the eyeliner! For the eyeliner, I used the chromaline in Black Black, and it will give you a very sharp and pigmented line, without the hassle of trying to make a perfect line with a pencil. I applied this to my upper lash line and my waterline with a 266.
Okay, I admit, my eyes are borderline scary blue in this, it is the new lighting! My eyes are this blue in certain kind of lighting, and the deep tones in the crease really bring them out. This look is amazing on its own, and it will be perfect for any occasion.

All of the pictures in this post are my own, so if you are interested in using them, contact me first.

Before I forget, I am so happy for this to be Forever Fuchsia's 150th post! Thanks to all of our readers, you all are the best!

Tell me in the comments what you think of this look, and what your camera ready secrets are! Feel free to request a post by commenting below or contacting us at foreverfuchsia@gmail.com with any questions. Thank you so much for reading!

Forever 21 Shoes

Hey Everyone!

Every girl needs a good pair of heels. Not only do they make your legs look longer and more toned, but they are so much fun! The only problem that I run into is they can get very pricey. A good pair of shoes can cost a lot, but I trade out my shoes like I change my makeup looks, so I needed to find a less expensive site. And that is when I thought of Forever 21! I was doubting the quality, but I have gotten a couple of pairs from them and they are actually pretty good. I wouldn't get these if you are looking for your everyday pair of shoes, but if you need some fill in heels, these are great!

These are awesome! If you want the height without the chance of twisting you ankle, finding heels with a platform on them are perfect. These have a six inch heel, but with the platform, it is like walking on four. The black contrast trim is the perfect touch to dress these up a little.

I love these! The roses on these will easily dress up any outfit, but the cork wedge makes them the perfect versatile shoe. I love wedges, and if you are just getting started with heels, you might want to start with wedges. Not only will they distribute your weight perfectly, but they are super easy to walk in. I worked my way up in wedges before I moved on to heels.

Are these perfect to dress up jeans or what? They are the perfect finishing touch to any outfit that needs a little color, and the floral pattern will dress up any dull work outfit. The knotted open toe is a nice touch too.

These are perfect for going out at night. I can totally see Hanna on Pretty Little Liars wearing these! They are fashion forward and slightly edgy, so maybe Aria would like these too... Anyways, the detailed cutouts on these are fun, and you don't have to worry about wobbling all over if you are new to heels because of the platform!

I love that Forever 21 has heels that are one step up from the typical type. They take a basic black heel and turn them into studded platform heels! If you want something that will add a little edge to your outfit, these are perfect.

Hello, color! Would these be amazing to pair with some jeggings and a cream top? Bright colors can be in more then just a top, you can easily make it work for shoes too. I can do an outfit of the day post soon showing my favorite ways to wear color!

And those are my favorites! I have been shoe crazy lately, and Forever 21 is not exactly helping my addiction! Tell me in the comments what your go to pair of heels are, and feel free to request a post. I will be doing requested posts soon, so keep reading! Make sure to follow if you haven't already!

June Favorites!

Hey Everyone!

I feel like I am the last blogger to do the monthly favorites, but better late then never, right? Today I am going to do a June favorites post telling you all about the products that I have been using all throughout the month!

My first favorite is the Fleur Power blush. I have been wearing a lot of neon shirts lately, and with a very light hand, this looks great on! I like to blend this up so it is a very soft wash of color, and it has the faintest sheen.

Next is my Mac Club eyeshadow. I love to use this as a really soft eyeliner when I am going for the barley there look. Smudge this out with a Q-tip and you will have the perfect subtle yet defined eyes! I usually apply this with a 266 brush to my upper lash line, and use anything that is left on the brush on my lower lash line.

My favorite eyeliner of the month is Urban Decay Stash. Apparently I have been into eyeliners that are not super obvious! Like Club, this defines without being too harsh. Plus, the golden and bronze flecks of shimmer in this will bring out any eye color.

My favorite lip pencil has been NYX cosmetics in Peekaboo Neutral. Not only does this have an adorable name, the color of it is amazing! It gives a little color without being too overwhelming. I like to line my lips with this lightly and then slightly smudge the line in and out to make my lips look fuller.

And last but not least, my favorite multi-use product has been the Nars Malibu Multiple. I use this on my lips when I want a hint of color, or I just dab a little on my cheeks and blend up, making my cheekbones look higher. It has such a rich tone, but it has a little shimmer in it, making it perfect for summer.

Thanks for reading, and tell me in the comments what your favorite products for June have been! Also, feel free to request any posts in the comments. Make sure to follow, and tell me if you want to see a new fitness routine post. I haven't done one in the past, but I thought it would be fun to make one!

Ulta Shopping Trip Haul!

Hello Readers!
A Couple of days ago I went to Ulta to do some shopping. Ulta is my all time favorite store! Ok back to the subject, I got a couple of items that I thought I would share with you guys!

First is the Lashlight Mascara from Too Faced. I'll admit, I'm a sucker for pretty packaging, so when I was trying to decide between two mascaras, I went for this one because of the gorgeus packaging!

But It's a great Mascara, if you only apply a little bit it's great for a daytime look, and with another layer it becomes a great nightime look, and with one more layer you get the huge lashes that are thick and an intense black and perfect for a beauty pageant or a intense look!

It also comes equipted for any disasters that may happen. It comes with a mini mirror on the side for if you forget your mirror, It's also great because you get an super close look at your lashes so you can make sure there are no clumps or smudges!

And if you lose all the power in you house, or one of your lightbulbs goes out, there is a tiny light! but it is really bright. This is also good for if you need to see it really close up.

Overall, I've found that this is a really good mascara and I have been wearing it everyday!

Next I got a braided headband from Amika.
I love the company Amika, they make great fake hair pieces that look and feel like really hair, and they are great quality. I have tried some other braided headbands and the braids tend to come out, and you can tell they are fake. but these are really great quality and they look like they are your hair, which makes you look like and amazing braider!

Amika has there products made in just about every hair shade imaginable. Also, they have have some other really unique (but adorable) products that I must get! For instance awhile ago I did a post on how to do a hair bow, well i've tried it and it never turns out quite right. But Amika makes them and they are a simple clip!

Thats an easy solution! But overall this is a great product and it is adorable! they are a little pricier than other companies, but these are much better quality and they will last a long time. The only complaint I have is that it's a little small, so if you have a large head I would try one of their clips instead.

Next thing to conquer? I need to find a good white nail polish so I can do some 4th of July nails! any suggestions? Comment and tell me!
