I love this palette; it saves me so much time in the morning. I can create beautiful neutral looks or a base for my look with it. Keep reading to see how I accomplished this look!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Dm_FuoIiG3g/UXCC5Pr00pI/AAAAAAAACPQ/WR3Jiu-c_2M/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Dm_FuoIiG3g/UXCC5Pr00pI/AAAAAAAACPQ/WR3Jiu-c_2M/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112315.4226" class="alignnone" alt="" width="474" height="356"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-D4PLanNnEQc/UXCC8VP45OI/AAAAAAAACPY/SJH12i3j62o/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-D4PLanNnEQc/UXCC8VP45OI/AAAAAAAACPY/SJH12i3j62o/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112314.83" class="alignnone" alt="" width="473" height="354"></a></div>
<p> Begin by priming the eyes with a yellow base. This will complement any eye color.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-I2Ko8k7xUXg/UXCDAZVjBaI/AAAAAAAACPg/GNNK3guJEUQ/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-I2Ko8k7xUXg/UXCDAZVjBaI/AAAAAAAACPg/GNNK3guJEUQ/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112368.3284" class="alignnone" alt="" width="471" height="353"></a></div>
<p> Cut the crease for a distinct line. Make sure to use a smaller brush for added precision. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-YNZ6dnNle_Y/UXCDCtRT5BI/AAAAAAAACPo/vpRFuRuqW1g/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-YNZ6dnNle_Y/UXCDCtRT5BI/AAAAAAAACPo/vpRFuRuqW1g/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112282.9333" class="alignnone" alt="" width="473" height="354"></a></div>
<p> Line the upper lash line and waterline with a matte black. I decided to use a powder instead of a pencil or liquid eyeliner for a softer, smoked out look.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-xZ3mw1i8YWw/UXCDHOc7UJI/AAAAAAAACPw/suXJoJS6OUY/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-xZ3mw1i8YWw/UXCDHOc7UJI/AAAAAAAACPw/suXJoJS6OUY/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112281.5078" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> The last step is the lashes. I used my triple mascara technique so I wouldn't have to use false lashes. Start by applying a clear mascara. After it has dried, apply a mascara with more of a liquid base to it. Finish it off with a thicker mascara to make the lashes extremely bold!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sp3FWmQNGYg/UXCDLv4o-nI/AAAAAAAACP4/ngxCcuaid4c/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sp3FWmQNGYg/UXCDLv4o-nI/AAAAAAAACP4/ngxCcuaid4c/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A20%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366328112328.408" class="alignnone" width="471" height="353" alt=""></a></div>
<p> From these photos, you can see where I placed the shades. The middle two were used as blending colors.</p>

<p> Spring is the perfect time to start bringing out the brighter colors. I wore this look on a shopping trip with some friends and received a ton of good feedback on it! I feel like if I put more time into eyeshadow with colors, people tend to recognize it more than time spent on neutrals. Seriously, the professional at Sephora was going nuts over this.. Keep reading to see how I achieved it!</p>

<p> Is it just me, or is this a pop of color? I feel like it is the perfect way to branch out into brights.</p>

<p> Yes, I went back into the Marilyn Monroe makeup basics. Her classical look an be adapted into just about anything!</p>

<p> We know what she is thinking there.. Might as well add a speech bubble. I went a little bit overboard on the graphics here; I was having too much fun!</p>

<p> I am back again with yet another haul. This one is different than most because there is something new about the pictures. I attempt to deliver the best quality of pictures I can, but it usually involves a white background. These are slightly tweaked compared to my old ones! Enjoy the view! :)</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VS9LXpqMxa4/UVEYw95oCYI/AAAAAAAACJg/tBJ7YzW0x10/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A08%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-VS9LXpqMxa4/UVEYw95oCYI/AAAAAAAACJg/tBJ7YzW0x10/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A08%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505610.6516" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="579"></a></div>
<p> The first product I purchased was MAC's Antiqued Diamond Paint Pot.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-OmENbNovSu8/UVEY8U7uVqI/AAAAAAAACJo/Mfgh41kon8w/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A10%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-OmENbNovSu8/UVEY8U7uVqI/AAAAAAAACJo/Mfgh41kon8w/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A10%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505580.663" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="378"></a></div>
<p>I have had my eye on this for a while but never got the chance to buy it. Expect some tutorials coming soon!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3WN2r6VaX_4/UVEZEXgEJ-I/AAAAAAAACJw/FTJe8gEt_Vw/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A37%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-3WN2r6VaX_4/UVEZEXgEJ-I/AAAAAAAACJw/FTJe8gEt_Vw/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A37%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505590.8948" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="505"></a></div>
<p> I was looking through my collection as I reorganized it and realized that I was missing a key staple. Yes, I did not have Satin Taupe in my collection (Cue the shocked gasps). Can we just take a minute to admire the top shot of this product? I was freaking out that Satin Taupe was going to tip over the side of the railing! It was the only way to show the shimmer in the product without using flash. No worries, it is still happily in one piece.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-y7E-Vsgle8g/UVEZJ98yvkI/AAAAAAAACJ4/XNx6nNxJ3Gg/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A39%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-y7E-Vsgle8g/UVEZJ98yvkI/AAAAAAAACJ4/XNx6nNxJ3Gg/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525205%25253A39%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505622.7556" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="625"></a></div>
<p> You can see how I had a little too much fun in some of these pictures... I know the extra shadows and all may not have been necessary, but it was so amusing just to try out a few different angles.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-eQxLJIcnpyw/UVEZLK5YDhI/AAAAAAAACKA/4x-VcFAmtG0/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-eQxLJIcnpyw/UVEZLK5YDhI/AAAAAAAACKA/4x-VcFAmtG0/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A25%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505603.6619" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="500"></a></div>
<p> The last product from MAC is Beautiful Iris. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zyZuYkzAgPI/UVEZVSbz6aI/AAAAAAAACKI/9FSTzrKdRbQ/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A29%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-zyZuYkzAgPI/UVEZVSbz6aI/AAAAAAAACKI/9FSTzrKdRbQ/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A29%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505578.2546" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="750"></a></div>
<p>This is another classic that I was surprised I didn't have. It reminds me a bit of Vellum but with a much stronger purple base.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-N7AYBYseUBM/UVEZYy2dBvI/AAAAAAAACKQ/ZuRACWKMiqE/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A30%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-N7AYBYseUBM/UVEZYy2dBvI/AAAAAAAACKQ/ZuRACWKMiqE/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A30%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505584.416" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="528"></a></div>
<p> Moving on to Lush! This is the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. It is like a moisturizer that you rinse off instead of leave on.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4MKfRnrGQNo/UVEZgLOM3BI/AAAAAAAACKY/kTuTXpxdsHc/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A31%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4MKfRnrGQNo/UVEZgLOM3BI/AAAAAAAACKY/kTuTXpxdsHc/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A31%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505554.3337" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="263"></a></div>
<p> The beloved Dream Cream was a must have. This stuff is a miracle worker, seriously.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-KnP8CprCIrk/UVEZi8PxuSI/AAAAAAAACKg/gvB745AIoIU/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A32%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-KnP8CprCIrk/UVEZi8PxuSI/AAAAAAAACKg/gvB745AIoIU/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A32%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505551.2378" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="413"></a></div>
<p> My favorite product at Lush would have to be the Honey I Washed The Kids soap. Some say it smells like honey, I say it smells like heaven.</p>

<p> The last product from lush is a bar of Fun. Literally, it is called fun. This is a soap/bath bomb/shampoo/play dough kind of product. Did I mention it is multi-purpose?</p>

<p> H&M was one of my favorite places. These floral shoes are not only perfect for spring, but also super comfy.</p>

<p> I have been purchasing patterned shorts left and right. I play it safe too often when it comes to printed bottoms, so I decided to go with more of a subtle top for spring. These plain tee shirts will be perfect when I want to pull of patterns and prints.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-RczD0BNablI/UVEZviP-UnI/AAAAAAAACLA/qUDB9LR6Isk/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A41%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-RczD0BNablI/UVEZviP-UnI/AAAAAAAACLA/qUDB9LR6Isk/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252025%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A41%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364269505551.3396" class="alignnone" width="500" height="542" alt=""></a></div>
<p> Last but not least, I present to you an impulse buy. I know, you may be wondering where I plan on wearing pink hair. Like all of my other insane outfit ideas, I'm going to just make it work. I will just play around with these for now, but who knows, I might be seen with flowing pink hair someday.</p>
<p>Tell me in the comments what you have purchased lately! Also, tell me what you think about the background. Do you like something a bit more interesting? I love it; I think the scenery adds so much to the photos. </p>
<p>OOTD's are coming soon! Thanks for reading!</p>

<p> I was going through my collection yesterday and noticed that there were quite a few products that I haven't used in a while. I typically reorganize my collection every few weeks; it is one of the few things that I can successfully keep in order! I rearrange the products, but I have never taken out everything all at once.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-du31frEwDWc/UU-xxJqdaZI/AAAAAAAACJA/ltROl35DRGg/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A09%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-du31frEwDWc/UU-xxJqdaZI/AAAAAAAACJA/ltROl35DRGg/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A09%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364177366626.771" class="alignnone" alt="" width="566" height="349"></a></div>
<p> And that doesn't include my MAC individual eyeshadows. I thought that it would be easy... I was wrong. It may have been simpler if I didn't create one of my "oh so ambitious" plans. Like I said before, there are a lot of products that I don't use because I forget about them. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bswGOHqYIU8/UU-xzQA_2DI/AAAAAAAACJI/MAbz0DcDzbY/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A10%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-bswGOHqYIU8/UU-xzQA_2DI/AAAAAAAACJI/MAbz0DcDzbY/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A10%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364177366586.7021" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> I knew that there had to be another way to keep track of the products, so I decided to just go for the most helpful yet time consuming option yet. I am going to catalogue every single product.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HuO4ENf6Aeo/UU-x1dcMUBI/AAAAAAAACJQ/VzKV7phNgqI/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A10%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-HuO4ENf6Aeo/UU-x1dcMUBI/AAAAAAAACJQ/VzKV7phNgqI/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252022%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525201%25253A10%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1364177366620.0554" class="alignnone" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a></div>
<p> At first, I started taking pictures with my iPad camera for the thumbnails, but the quality was not up to my standards. I have decided to take "blog quality" pictures of every product to list it. Even though this may take a while, I will have a lovely database for new blog posts! I will not have to worry about taking new pictures of the products for tutorials and I can dedicate the time to taking better quality pictures of the look itself.</p>
<p> What am I going to use to catalogue my products? I have been contemplating the best way to do this on my iPad and am currently testing out a few apps. I will update when I have found my HG cataloging system!</p>
<p> Tell me in the comments how you keep track of your collection! Thanks for reading!</p>

<p> I was messing around in the kitchen and found a box of crayons. I saw the non toxic, paraben free claims on the box. This made me think, which is never a good sign... Plenty of pigment, no harsh chemicals... It sounded like a lipstick! Keep reading to see how I attempted this!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xDaMpLL1Szw/UUZWcb5K3sI/AAAAAAAACHY/3GDTSY1sxfA/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A49%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-xDaMpLL1Szw/UUZWcb5K3sI/AAAAAAAACHY/3GDTSY1sxfA/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A49%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344850.1077" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="543"></a></div>
<p> Begin by collections your materials. You will need coconut oil for the base, olive oil for the shine, and crayons. Also make sure to have a spoon handy.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-qKMhxxPVY-A/UUZWg7kbECI/AAAAAAAACHg/_4giXh0vL-8/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A50%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-qKMhxxPVY-A/UUZWg7kbECI/AAAAAAAACHg/_4giXh0vL-8/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A50%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344815.5923" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> The first color I wanted to create was a soft coral. To get the perfect combination, I started off with Tickle Me Pink.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CfGA049Droc/UUZWk3GEo-I/AAAAAAAACHo/T2X4I-CdSa0/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A50%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-CfGA049Droc/UUZWk3GEo-I/AAAAAAAACHo/T2X4I-CdSa0/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A50%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344864.683" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="270"></a></div>
<p> The other color that I added in was Burnt Orange. This gave me a mixture of cool and warm tones.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-J8od-z96zo4/UUZWrTH0qnI/AAAAAAAACHw/lTe3sXgxLBE/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A52%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-J8od-z96zo4/UUZWrTH0qnI/AAAAAAAACHw/lTe3sXgxLBE/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A52%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344889.869" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> Next, light an old candle. I would recommend using one that you are not particularly fond of; I accidentally spilled a few ingredients here and there... I found this candle for a dollar at Walmart, so it did not hold much sentimental value!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-0tU0qp9pbOI/UUZWww1YBWI/AAAAAAAACH4/TEiJ_E2d6cQ/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A53%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-0tU0qp9pbOI/UUZWww1YBWI/AAAAAAAACH4/TEiJ_E2d6cQ/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A53%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344877.349" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p>Pour in some olive oil to your tablespoon. The reason I am not enclosing a presice measurement is because you can choose how much you want. The more you add, the shinier your lipstick will be. I am creating more of a buildable color that goes from sheer to opaque, so I started off with more and blotted away the excess with a paper towel.</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-E4sy5co_aTg/UUZW1X_A_cI/AAAAAAAACIA/oTSa6Mv8pzQ/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A19%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-E4sy5co_aTg/UUZW1X_A_cI/AAAAAAAACIA/oTSa6Mv8pzQ/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A19%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344825.0142" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> Unwrap the paper around the crayons. I used about 1/4 of each crayon, so you do not have to unwrap the entire thing.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-y50YyvWykV4/UUZW6bkybiI/AAAAAAAACII/EBYNNY9HXt4/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A55%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-y50YyvWykV4/UUZW6bkybiI/AAAAAAAACII/EBYNNY9HXt4/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A55%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344849.9546" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="489"></a></div>
<p> Cut off the amount that you want to use. Play around with lighter and darker ratios.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tmnFhyJDanQ/UUZW_fF2QEI/AAAAAAAACIQ/MRFnHmspDfs/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A57%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tmnFhyJDanQ/UUZW_fF2QEI/AAAAAAAACIQ/MRFnHmspDfs/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525209%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252011%25253A57%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344859.9482" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> Now that the materials are prepared, put it all in your spoon! Instead of holding the spoon the entire time, I turned two coffee cups upside down to create a holder for it. What can I say, my hand got tired after a while!</p>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ywc18tLUTRg/UUZXDpQA77I/AAAAAAAACIY/1aDmXnY2b6M/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A36%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ywc18tLUTRg/UUZXDpQA77I/AAAAAAAACIY/1aDmXnY2b6M/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A36%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344821.2483" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="373"></a></div>
<p> This is how quickly the crayons melted for me. I used a mini candle, so you can cut the time in half by using a full sized one.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tvkSQiBQ5z8/UUZXG6n-i_I/AAAAAAAACIg/G9wtaRG_jQs/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252010%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A27%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tvkSQiBQ5z8/UUZXG6n-i_I/AAAAAAAACIg/G9wtaRG_jQs/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252010%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A27%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344830.2537" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="375"></a></div>
<p> All that is left to do is pour it in a container! I decided to have them in pan form so I could create a palette.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ISeqpCAKhPU/UUZXKfyAUBI/AAAAAAAACIo/273pndboHxY/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252010%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A17%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ISeqpCAKhPU/UUZXKfyAUBI/AAAAAAAACIo/273pndboHxY/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252010%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A17%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344891.3293" class="alignnone" alt="" width="500" height="341"></a></div>
<p>I placed my pan in the refirdgarator for about ten minutes before using it. Placing it on a notecard or any type of paper prevents the product from sticking to the surface. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-HL_h3VJpjx8/UUZXNY9zI_I/AAAAAAAACIw/ZgLZaWeLBMY/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-HL_h3VJpjx8/UUZXNY9zI_I/AAAAAAAACIw/ZgLZaWeLBMY/s500/Photo%252520Mar%25252017%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525207%25253A21%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1363564344900.0098" class="alignnone" width="500" height="624" alt=""></a></div>
<p> It is that easy! Here are the colors I have previously created. The new color is not in the palette yet. I should name these! Leave any suggestions in the comments.</p>
<p>At first, this felt like something I would try in my early teenage years. I have to admit, I was suspicious at first. Surprisingly, it does not have any waxy residue or taste to it. I really enjoyed creating them! Tell me in the comments if you will try this, and if so, what colors will you create? Make sure to leave name suggestions in the comments as well! Thanks for reading!</p>

<p> Then again, when am I not excited? I am on a super excitement energy high, aka, a shopping high. I haven't purchased any "large" quantity of things at once in a while. I am in love with every single thing that I purchased; keep reading to see what I got!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5VGT87tlmCc/UTK2_e3YG2I/AAAAAAAACEQ/7WkysxqhcPE/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A18%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-5VGT87tlmCc/UTK2_e3YG2I/AAAAAAAACEQ/7WkysxqhcPE/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A18%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1362278369146.0435" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> The first product that I purchased was Vibrant Grape from MAC. I couldn't believe that I didn't have this color already! I love fun colors that can be used as a base for a soft smokey look. This will be so much fun for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iA_HWo5kQ8Q/UTK3CmqXV7I/AAAAAAAACEY/yPteEDiXoNQ/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A19%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-iA_HWo5kQ8Q/UTK3CmqXV7I/AAAAAAAACEY/yPteEDiXoNQ/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A19%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1362278369102.6519" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p> The next color from MAC is Girlie. I purchased this to wear along with Vibrant Grape as a highlight. I am going to apply this to the inner half of the lid, Vibrant grape on the rest of the lid, and then smoke it out with Sushi Flower. Look for a more detailed post soon!</p>

<p> This is not anything major, but I purchased another Select Coverup. This is my third tube of this product. I transition in between NC and NW depending on where I am applying it. I decided to pick up another NW20 because I wanted something to mix in for my under eye concealer routine. I found the most amazing brush that works so well with this; I have been working on a dry brushing technique.</p>

<p> If you have seen any of my previous posts, you may know that I adore MAC paint pots. I was so excited to see that they came out with a new long wearing collection of paint pots! I decided on a neutral peach with specks of gold glitter in the shade Let Me Pop. This will be so pretty as an overall wash of color on the lid in the summer.</p>

<p> I couldn't leave MAC without purchasing something from the Archie's Girls collection! I did not go to MAC in search of an eyeliner, but I was instantly drawn in to this part of the collection. I have to admit, the packaging had something to do with it... I purchased this mainly because of the packaging, but when I tried it, I was shocked. Wow. This glides on so smoothly! I always strayed away from pencil liners because the tend to tug on my lash line which can lead to pre-mature wrinkles. These eyeliners have changed my mind!</p>

<p> The first item that I got from Forever 21 is one of their nail polishes. I have tried out a few various shades and I love them. For $2.80, how can you go wrong? The shimmer in this color drew me in. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1XngGaPxafQ/UTK3Re6TgHI/AAAAAAAACFA/VIuis90tQVc/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1XngGaPxafQ/UTK3Re6TgHI/AAAAAAAACFA/VIuis90tQVc/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A26%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1362278369076.76" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> Every single item in that store is strategically placed. I attempted to stay away from the headband section. From the looks of this multi-colored stretch headband, I did not succeed. </p>

<p> I couldn't help it. So. Shiny. I loved the tropical print in this. I have a bad habit of overusing heat on my hair. I have been trying to figure out ways to looks polished and complete without having to curl/straighten it. Hopefully headbands are the answer!</p>

<p> Last headband, I promise! I loved the Greek Goddess feel this had. The thin braided gold intertwined with the cream can put a classical twist on any outfit.</p>

<p> I needed a slim belt to cinch in my oversized tops. I went with a lighter brown instead of black for spring. I loved the triangular detailing along with the gold.</p>

<p> I may have a flower addiction. Every time I go into that store I have to pick up at least one of the pins. I love wearing these with my hair in loose waves along with bangles, beachy and wooden, adorning my wrist. Sounds dreamy, right?</p>
<p> </p>

<p> My white capri's have been found! I purchased this adorable top from target a while ago. I was navy with white dots all over it. I have found that it looks too harsh with jeans, so I needed something white. I love the zipper detailing on these; I can't wait to wear them!</p>
<p> </p>

<p> I wanted to pick up a pair of dark wash jean shorts. These are just the basic style; I wanted to get them a little small because Forever 21 tends to run smaller on me. These are my spring fitspo; I am determined to get become tones up by summer!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-__BT0KensUM/UTK3t_xo-3I/AAAAAAAACF4/z0sMHE_xR2E/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-__BT0KensUM/UTK3t_xo-3I/AAAAAAAACF4/z0sMHE_xR2E/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A34%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1362278369089.0544" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> As I stated in the other shorts, I needed new ones. I wanted to purchase something that was in a light wash fabric. I loved the cuffed effect on these; look for new outfit of the day posts!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bp2P9oJ-Xd0/UTK3yX8eH_I/AAAAAAAACGA/YKpreEwoG5M/s1024/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A35%252520PM.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bp2P9oJ-Xd0/UTK3yX8eH_I/AAAAAAAACGA/YKpreEwoG5M/s500/Photo%252520Mar%2525202%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525208%25253A35%252520PM.jpg" id="blogsy-1362278369153.218" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="667"></a></div>
<p> Like I said before, everything in that store is strategically placed. I was ready to check out and the sale rack was right next to me. Needless to say, I took a few more minutes before I finally wrapped up my purchase! This coral top convinced me to purchase it with its buttons and very agreeable price tag.</p>

<p> The last item that I purchased it this lime spring green top. It is a bit loose intentionally, so I will utilize the belt to cinch it in at the waist.</p>

<p>That is everything that I purchased! Make sure to follow and tell me in the comments what your latest shopping purchases have been. Thank you for reading!</p>

<p> I am so excited to share with you a revolutionary skin care option. I always had to deal with problematic skin. Some days are better than others, but it would never be completely clear. About a month ago, I was contacted by a company called Skinetica. It was a skin care product that had promising claims about clearing up the skin. I replied and told them that I would be happy to test it out. Keep reading to see my opinion!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Yq8MKr_0ks8/UXLSdB_npwI/AAAAAAAACQI/ojxQ-a2Uam4/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-Yq8MKr_0ks8/UXLSdB_npwI/AAAAAAAACQI/ojxQ-a2Uam4/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366920700506.5146" class="alignnone" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a></div>
<p>This is Skinetica! Not only is the bottle really nice, but the product inside is.. Wow. There is a slight scent to it that is very pleasant. I does not make the skin feel tightened after the application either. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-TlYCzG9X9k0/UXLSgzO8KXI/AAAAAAAACQQ/tp_7vRjF1rY/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-TlYCzG9X9k0/UXLSgzO8KXI/AAAAAAAACQQ/tp_7vRjF1rY/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366920700496.5579" class="alignnone" width="500" height="375" alt=""></a></div>
<p> It easily glides on to the skin. My skin now has a glow to it that I can't replicate with makeup. Any kind of beauty product looks ten times better when the skin is in it's best condition.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-g_2yQHJWm0s/UXLSkgbg1HI/AAAAAAAACQY/HznyO5seu84/s1024/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style=""><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-g_2yQHJWm0s/UXLSkgbg1HI/AAAAAAAACQY/HznyO5seu84/s500/Photo%252520Apr%25252020%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A04%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1366920700551.259" class="alignnone" width="500" height="667" alt=""></a></div>
<p> Here are the changes I have noticed:</p>
<p><strong>First week</strong>- redness reduced around the nose and cheeks</p>
<p><strong>Second week</strong>- 75% of imperfections cleared up</p>
<p><strong>Third week</strong>- same results as before, but healthier, more dewy</p>
<p><strong>Fourth week</strong>- minor imperfections left, majority cleared up</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I have noticed a major difference from when I began. I will start a series soon on skincare updates and improvements soon. If you are looking for fast results, I would highly recommend Skinetica. Go to http://www.skinetica.co.uk/ for more info!</p>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> It's pretty amazing how fast a year flies by. I remember getting together with Glitter Girl and we were talking about a blog. We loved sharing fashion and beauty tips with each other, but we wanted to share them with the world. Throughout the past year, we have learned so much about the fashion and beauty industry. It makes my laugh when I look back at out first posts and compare them to our posts now. Here are the first posts on Forever Fuchsia:</span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello Readers!<br /><br />Welcome to our new fashion blog, forever fuchsia! On this blog, we will be writing about everything from fashion must-haves, beauty bits, and the latest looks the celebrities are rocking! We can not wait to start in, so be sure to check back and see the latest posts. If you have an account, be sure to follow our blog! Instead of doing a long introduction to our blog, I would love to start off with my very first post! Because my friend and I are both blogging on this, we are both going to use the same user account to make things a lot easier for the both of us! Because spring is near, I think it would be best to start off with a closet update and show you all some really great deals!<br /><br />I adore Forever 21. I tend to wear my clothes for the season needed and unless I have some attachment to it, there it goes. Shoes however, are a completely different story. I prefere to spend a little more on shoes because I have certain types that I just keep going back to, making it unnecessary to toss them when I get the urge to go on a shopping blowout! Holding on to the classics and basics goes for any category, it is those pieces that catch your eye and are impossible to say no to! Sadly, that happens to be my greatest weakness. So when I want to take an adventure and get the thrill of a new purchase, Forever 21 it is.<br /><br />And that brings me to my next point of the season's new must have! I must take it one piece per post. Apparently, a basic shirt has turned into a wild trend by knotting the ends of a shirt together. This look can be worn in a very casual and comfy style by pairing it with some dark wash denim shorts. I would recommend keeping the look casual by waring some chunky wooden bangles and maybe a small hoop earring to top the look off. This can also be used by wearing it with a thin pencil skirt and wedges. Oh, and the best part? It is only $17.80 where it can be found up to $80 at other stores!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br />I love how simple yet classy this looks. The yellow pop of color in the earrings puts an interesting twist on the outfit while the wedges keep the outfit from going overboard. I would add a cami under the shirt because I am not loving the whole "everything needs to be shorter/tighter" trend, thank you very much.<br /><br />So the next time you are wearing a blouse and want to put a spin on it, tie the ends. Be sure to comment below and tell us about your favorite shopping spree moments, trends, and anything else that is needed! Thanks for reading!<br /><br />~perfectly pink<br /><br />This post is not sponsored.</span></div>

Wait, what?!?<p>Yes, I did a double take of the title was well. Disclaimer: this look was not worn in public. Do not try this at home.</p>
<p>Why did I try this? Great question. The Forever Fuchsia team was working on some new looks for posts and we came up with a challenge. Our logo designer picked out a certain number of products for each of us to try and we had to create a look with it. After looking at my kit, I knew there was no hope for the natural look. The madness is explained.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-q3UTyzr7yvQ/USKwuhCszvI/AAAAAAAACDo/98r9QYPRk_A/s713/Photo%252520Feb%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A19%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-q3UTyzr7yvQ/USKwuhCszvI/AAAAAAAACDo/98r9QYPRk_A/s500/Photo%252520Feb%25252018%25252C%2525202013%25252C%25252012%25253A19%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1361227964716.9993" class="alignleft" width="400" height="350" alt=""></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p> Fabulous, right? This actually was not that difficult to do; the products blended well. The eyebrows are actually the NYX lip pencil in Pumpkin, and the eyes came from a combination of MAC's Hi-def Cyan and NYX Jumbo shadow pencils.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Even though it is strange, I still get points for creativity! Tell me in the comments if you have ever attempted the colored eyebrows trend, and if so, how did you make it work? Thanks for reading!</p>

I was testing out a new template, and needless to say, it did not turn out too well! I am quite content with the current one for now. :)</font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">Anyways, I was experimenting with nails. If you have seen some previous posts with my nail polish designs, then you know that I am slightly addicted. The only problem I was running into was the space I had to create my design. My nails do not grow very quickly, but I wanted to test out the look of long nails. I decided to test out fake nails. </font></p>
<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">I decided on a pair that I knew wouldn't last longer than a week. They were a decent length and not too obnoxious. After gluing them on, I ran into a slight dilemma... I had no idea how to function with them. You basically have to re-learn how to do everyday activities including my nightmare: taking out contacts. I was shocked that after a week later, the nails were still holding strong. I was slightly bored of the design, so I painted over it. </font></p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NGN27cfSG7w/URbRgA6l7ZI/AAAAAAAACCs/m5Wm95-U_M8/s1024/Photo%252520Jan%25252021%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525203%25253A37%252520AM.jpg" target="_blank" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NGN27cfSG7w/URbRgA6l7ZI/AAAAAAAACCs/m5Wm95-U_M8/s500/Photo%252520Jan%25252021%25252C%2525202013%25252C%2525203%25253A37%252520AM.jpg" id="blogsy-1360449925741.8376" class="alignleft" width="378" height="283" alt=""></a> This was the design that I came up with! This was a week later, so you can see that my nails grew out a bit. Overall, I was pretty happy with them. They finally came off about a week later and my nails were not damaged from the glue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">The only activity that took some time for me to do was to get my contacts out. I cannot tell you how many times in those two weeks that I scratched my eyes out. I finally figured out how to slide them and then get them to crinkle up.. It was tough. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: none;">I guess if the only downside to the nails was the contact issue, then they went fairly well. I would try them again if I had the chance! Tell me in the comments if you have ever tried fake nails, and if so, how did you like them? Thanks for reading!</div>
<p> </p>Forever Fuchsiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03132207863137416554noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451986159744709261.post-71208141086953813932013-02-08T20:22:00.001-08:002013-02-09T18:42:18.663-08:00Photography And An Update<p> When was the first time you played with a camera? I was thinking back to my first camera experience when I was working on the settings of my own personal Canon. As a blogger, pictures are extremely important. Beauty blogging does take some time, and most of that time is dedicated to pictures. Capturing the slight glow of a cheek highlight or the daring boldness of a red lip can be challenging. I am the first person to admit that pictures take a lot of effort. Sure, getting the entire family to stay put for more than three seconds on Easter is tough, but you get a memory to cherish for a lifetime out of that one picture. </p>
<p> Even though the pictures I take for the blog are typically close up's, they show every little detail. Every shadow, highlight, and flaw is put on display. To me, it is worth it.</p>
<p> If I have helped one person out with any makeup questions or concerns, than I am fulfilling my position. I have documented every tip and trick I have found in the past year on this website. I am so thankful for each and every one of you, thank you so much for everything you do.</p>
<p>Here are a few of the photos that I have taken in the past month or so:</p>

<br />
I have a mini Mac haul of some products that I recently purchased. Keep reading to see what I got!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZQ3S2Xd0Kauulq3AyWlFNg3W0FkU4toMhGmukRZfiZJAB1GH3NqmV0JMs6p2Mjqq_2SPISuiKHNUym1_fM-Bf73l4LLdqBIIXHx8kyCVkIBfItGSBRit_72hGu17lyNTwsqX0eQtLiC0/s1600/machaul1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZQ3S2Xd0Kauulq3AyWlFNg3W0FkU4toMhGmukRZfiZJAB1GH3NqmV0JMs6p2Mjqq_2SPISuiKHNUym1_fM-Bf73l4LLdqBIIXHx8kyCVkIBfItGSBRit_72hGu17lyNTwsqX0eQtLiC0/s200/machaul1.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
I first got the MAC pro palette insert for 15 shadows. I always told myself that buying the shadows in pot form would help me use them more, but I am using my palette all of the time! <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2CTwgQbdgyRUOoCaVFBISiTIxCjv9ZsE3k31iVW3ebZIgvirJDhBZnJ36teNw1dBcVYKiTX44pl3mfLWud3fO1IFOvQY-5uTREypLujJ7PirDvUlJHwvUvH1C5Y777tA8nWA-QJZVNVM/s1600/machaul2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2CTwgQbdgyRUOoCaVFBISiTIxCjv9ZsE3k31iVW3ebZIgvirJDhBZnJ36teNw1dBcVYKiTX44pl3mfLWud3fO1IFOvQY-5uTREypLujJ7PirDvUlJHwvUvH1C5Y777tA8nWA-QJZVNVM/s200/machaul2.jpg" width="200" /></a><br />
I also purchased the large single palette with the clear lids. I posted about this a few days ago; expect a more detailed review soon!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVLUMzBpz0Bl28U7IOL9UOFy_TwFzYCMShDrA8uQkNtv7yYnlIBDZarjlpXHCbORJC3XtyN5f9u9dDpEM1-YMwzTfFMS4cM7Sy0hZQpJ9wpAlbS6sOjuPw2QECFZRrbGO9XoQ4o8ixiKw/s1600/Machaul3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVLUMzBpz0Bl28U7IOL9UOFy_TwFzYCMShDrA8uQkNtv7yYnlIBDZarjlpXHCbORJC3XtyN5f9u9dDpEM1-YMwzTfFMS4cM7Sy0hZQpJ9wpAlbS6sOjuPw2QECFZRrbGO9XoQ4o8ixiKw/s200/Machaul3.jpg" width="200" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Okay, I know this is a strange color... I am going to figure out how to make it wearable! This is Sour Lemon from the pro line. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-fhV55dPqfjN4AbBgr_Hig2x15cjo49g2nqwb8BRR3-zyrgfiBkdg0YC_F9QLqjBHqQATANnU8TQsCOg-2fCi4aPsun9JnBGc4UDfMTJldNmIyXIulEfzIBKEIoyVQkT4TogiyI46gOk/s1600/Machaul4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-fhV55dPqfjN4AbBgr_Hig2x15cjo49g2nqwb8BRR3-zyrgfiBkdg0YC_F9QLqjBHqQATANnU8TQsCOg-2fCi4aPsun9JnBGc4UDfMTJldNmIyXIulEfzIBKEIoyVQkT4TogiyI46gOk/s200/Machaul4.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
I had to purchase Vellum because of the sheen. This looks like a very basic white, but when it is applied, it has the prettiest violet shimmer to it. If you would combine the duo chrome in Stars and Rockets with Gesso, this would be it.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjERynej7-F1jVecQS5pBxalKzsJNUAk8nMcdIUJhTwX7270zabRofbVawBARciNQoZDn-NJ5nAiRqpLmwW-XAOGdk0rc0sQHQth4Ysa4_zkhdUZtnQHunhpJAi_gukER4vE4RWzJDrSvw/s1600/machaul6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjERynej7-F1jVecQS5pBxalKzsJNUAk8nMcdIUJhTwX7270zabRofbVawBARciNQoZDn-NJ5nAiRqpLmwW-XAOGdk0rc0sQHQth4Ysa4_zkhdUZtnQHunhpJAi_gukER4vE4RWzJDrSvw/s200/machaul6.jpg" width="200" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Naval is another color from the Pro line. I used this in my false lash proof post and it makes a beautiful eyeliner/smoked out look.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNb1zcOHJShomPcnqTJ8MoQObhsf0_DonV30jGTmnLZf0LZhcT6JBqP0kXbt0WrUDFa_uXMdcfTWXPMWg60zCGVjtKId2jh-DRU1RiOtTCmjjRPQG1RxJVR6l_EAclG5WtD5JspCE7_nA/s1600/Machaul5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNb1zcOHJShomPcnqTJ8MoQObhsf0_DonV30jGTmnLZf0LZhcT6JBqP0kXbt0WrUDFa_uXMdcfTWXPMWg60zCGVjtKId2jh-DRU1RiOtTCmjjRPQG1RxJVR6l_EAclG5WtD5JspCE7_nA/s200/Machaul5.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
My two other highlight staples are Blanc Type and Orb. I have hit pan on both of them, so I decided to try something a little different. I went with Vanilla, which reads more matte on me.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://acimg.auctivacommerce.com/imgdata/0/0/0/2/8/6/webimg/3219451.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://acimg.auctivacommerce.com/imgdata/0/0/0/2/8/6/webimg/3219451.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
Last but not least, I purchased Sumptuous Olive. I cannot believe I haven't tried this before! It is my go to crease color and it works with just about anything. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
That is my haul! Tell me in the comments if you have picked anything up recently. Thanks for reading! <br />

Getting all of the split ends off helps a lot, but there is one key product that hairdressers use to make the client's hair smoother. Let me introduce you to Moroccan Oil.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQJMTeOpeDbQrX0mP7_woyhbKlAJUqMBvMXXEfJ547vbPGOGq36" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQJMTeOpeDbQrX0mP7_woyhbKlAJUqMBvMXXEfJ547vbPGOGq36" /></a></div>
First of all, the packaging is the prettiest Tiffany box blue! How lovely. Moroccan oil is a combination of split end sealing oils. They tame any frizz without making hair seem oily.<br />
<br />
<br />
This product is sold online and at select salons.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://s1.folica.com/img/product/0/003252/main-view/moroccanoil-oil-treatment-three-four-oz-278x278.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://s1.folica.com/img/product/0/003252/main-view/moroccanoil-oil-treatment-three-four-oz-278x278.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
I believe that this magic potion works best on damp hair. I like to let my hair air dry about 50% before I apply this. I would recommend starting on the ends. Most people start at the roots of the hair which can make it appear oily. I prefer to start on the ends of my hair and work my way up.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
That is my go-to product! Tell me in the comments if you have ever heard of Moroccan oil, and if so, have you tried it? I will have the MAC haul up tomorrow or saturday, I can't wait! Thank you for reading!<br />

Voila! Are these lashes amazing or what? If you saw my last post, you know that I am in love with false lashes. This addiction has recently blossomed; I never have reached for them in my collection before. I am thinking of placing an order and getting some in bulk soon. I wanted to share a picture of a navy smokey eye that I tried out. Before I found out the mascara secret, my smokey eyes looked like black eyes. You know, the "accidentally ran into _________" look? Oh, feel free to fill in the blank. Lashes provide an anchor for the shadow; it pulls everything together.<br />
<br />
I used my Ardell lashes in 53 black for this look. They provide a ton of length and plenty of fullness without being too much of a drag queen look. Yes, even I have limits on my lashes. ;)<br />
<br />
Anyways, tell me in the comments if you like the latest picture style! I have been messing around with different formatting and styles. When I only have a few pictures, I really enjoy making them a nit larger. You can see the product/look in detail which can be more helpful. Keep an eye out for a MAC haul, I got my products today! I didn't open them until I took pictures, so it is kind of an unboxing haul... Kind of. I can't wait for it! <br />

<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/07/2256.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" height="400" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/07/s_2256.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="300" /></a><br />
I remember looking at fake lashes when I was younger and thinking, "Ew. Who would even think about wearing those?" The fluffy little creatures frightened me from a young age. Why do I like them now? I wish I knew the answer.<br />
<br />
I was trying to attempt to re-organize my collection (post coming soon!) when I found a pair of lashes. I tried them on just for fun. I was shocked at the difference that it made! My eyes looked so much bigger, and it brightened my face. Not all lashes look fake; I have been testing some very natural types as well. Overall, I am pretty impressed with these, I will use them in more future looks! Tell me in the comments if you use fake lashes, and if so, what is your favorite pair? Thanks for reading!<br />

Do not run screaming out the door, I can explain. When I thought of blue eyeshadow, I used to imagine a really bad 80's music video. Trust me, I thought it was pretty crazy too. This is coming from the person that does crazy looks everyday, but I mean, come on, blue? After testing out just about every color imaginable, I knew that there had to be a way to make this work.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFFXJw0q-QTzuzoM1hc8Ht7Xjak0Ds2NYrELDexHBmBKaSRbpUWus5vjz7q1lt9Cjncb7n0VATCtAeVfkhajqqJGwTk_q1jKJDwf8DxWWwHXwBFrssnCmzUP0GN6qohoj0Hijycw19dcg/s1600/blueeyemodels.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFFXJw0q-QTzuzoM1hc8Ht7Xjak0Ds2NYrELDexHBmBKaSRbpUWus5vjz7q1lt9Cjncb7n0VATCtAeVfkhajqqJGwTk_q1jKJDwf8DxWWwHXwBFrssnCmzUP0GN6qohoj0Hijycw19dcg/s320/blueeyemodels.jpg" width="240" /></a>I was looking at the Spring/Summer 2013 makeup looks from Fashion Week. Here is my rundown on my favorite looks:<br />Anna Sui: The face was left very simple. A wash of pool blue shadow was applied to the lid.<br />Fendi: This one is pretty interesting; a bathing suit was cut up into small strips and used on the lower lash line. Wow.<br />Clements Riberio: A nautical blue was applied to the upper lash line in a cat eye with a dot on the lower lash line in the middle.<br />Altuzarra: A deep navy was used for lining the upper lash line and ended in a slight wing.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqfMj5lxBDtYUbLouhOpyiVoo9JJYiYMYULEurTdcw86T_4rGXbL2Vlxqm9vYyjLobz_nBvnpJTj1abx7fxUHTtNFhh4swGc94dRmISwLL3aV7DzulNMttXkquFC0vCjArPpDNt-qXTC0/s1600/blueeye2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="185" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqfMj5lxBDtYUbLouhOpyiVoo9JJYiYMYULEurTdcw86T_4rGXbL2Vlxqm9vYyjLobz_nBvnpJTj1abx7fxUHTtNFhh4swGc94dRmISwLL3aV7DzulNMttXkquFC0vCjArPpDNt-qXTC0/s320/blueeye2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwDjisYcS-yRXmr36qBoWzAn-Aqr1xco1xI1UvHI9p-54oIFgtdalo3kNfbTmI9CIu3XGZOGAr42l1O0kji6B2WTGdyNVeGl15GPP_vc9PB709IpWL7ngdLIeXcmhSOwC8t3iuCYLzG0Q/s1600/blueeye3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="168" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwDjisYcS-yRXmr36qBoWzAn-Aqr1xco1xI1UvHI9p-54oIFgtdalo3kNfbTmI9CIu3XGZOGAr42l1O0kji6B2WTGdyNVeGl15GPP_vc9PB709IpWL7ngdLIeXcmhSOwC8t3iuCYLzG0Q/s320/blueeye3.jpg" width="320" /></a>My S/S 2013 inspired look started with MAC's eyeliner in So There Jade. I applied this to my lid and lower lash line. After stopping the color just before the crease, I blended it out with a small smudge brush like the 214.<br />The key to getting an interesting mix of textures is to use both creams and powders. I am going to set the creamy eyeliner with MAC's Tilt Eyeshadow. This was applied with a 213 brush to my outer corner and crease.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfq8-bKfI46byo8QJFpDXGuNBPuUgkKj7ByYxTFkkk_CA1qrAWg2vHRe521n7TjAw4B721sOgqPjancMw4LsCgu_xk_TOfuOujfbOVf1uEcvmoIIGZ20-HqL2RQmkFezySFNOJgPNXXVw/s1600/blueeye4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="229" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfq8-bKfI46byo8QJFpDXGuNBPuUgkKj7ByYxTFkkk_CA1qrAWg2vHRe521n7TjAw4B721sOgqPjancMw4LsCgu_xk_TOfuOujfbOVf1uEcvmoIIGZ20-HqL2RQmkFezySFNOJgPNXXVw/s320/blueeye4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />I am going in with a multi-purpose chromagraphic pencil in Hi-Def Cyan and using it to cut the crease. I actually extended the crease a bit; this is such a beautiful color! After applying the pencil, I buffed it out for a soft edge using a 217.<br />I love the look of the shadows fading into the skin, so I made sure this transition was seamless.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2aIVjY47FKhXWT_4Ep4crWCxNBMLg21G8FcuDYX36BqevVrMFGcS5PZVJ-6RGPQJTytP1-3eZbgeHscd9WuuPl9wdGAd1vsk5vNFKXotb2WmJtH7FE0jMf7f9stfhiUt1qyroKk2j7HY/s1600/blueeye5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2aIVjY47FKhXWT_4Ep4crWCxNBMLg21G8FcuDYX36BqevVrMFGcS5PZVJ-6RGPQJTytP1-3eZbgeHscd9WuuPl9wdGAd1vsk5vNFKXotb2WmJtH7FE0jMf7f9stfhiUt1qyroKk2j7HY/s320/blueeye5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> I wanted to slightly highlight the inner corner for a pop of aqua. This is actually softer than the other colors; it blends into the look very well. I applied this on a very small pencil brush to my inner corner.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbr5omCQYEYuk4TuaJGsLPCCmdb3bYs3XnU-xnE0lDdjg4QQqvDoEhqCVqCVbfEOHoIcpxO8xYhadmqrsGkhbmF1MHFfJ4Rwn5nb1dvghX5v4103OgIA1Dxl2mC7wMBw5IW8Tmqi7sNdY/s1600/blueeye6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="207" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbr5omCQYEYuk4TuaJGsLPCCmdb3bYs3XnU-xnE0lDdjg4QQqvDoEhqCVqCVbfEOHoIcpxO8xYhadmqrsGkhbmF1MHFfJ4Rwn5nb1dvghX5v4103OgIA1Dxl2mC7wMBw5IW8Tmqi7sNdY/s320/blueeye6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />Most of the model's wearing blue on the eyes sported a soft lip. They either had a light layer of concealer or nothing at all. I wanted a really soft lip with a hint of color, so I used the BH Cosmetics lip liner in earth.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="http://d277vln4jzkhhg.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Monique-Lhuillier-Spring-2013-beauty.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://d277vln4jzkhhg.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Monique-Lhuillier-Spring-2013-beauty.jpg" width="150" /></a></div><br />This kind of resembles the makeup at the Monique Lhuillier show without the gold in the inner corner. I love that blue is finally coming back with a twist.<br />I also have some good news to share! I finally figured out how to use my new camera! (claps and cheers from the crowd) Let me know in the comments if you can see a difference in quality; I think it looks so much better! If you saw my last tutorial post, then you know that I am going to place an order with MAC soon. I was admiring the latest PRO products (see my favorite products <a href="http://www.foreverfuchsia.com/2012/11/mac-pro-products.html" target="_blank">here!</a>) and I saw the new palettes. I love the quads, but they only save around four dollars than getting them in pot form. The 15 color palettes seemed great, but the opaque lid made me continue to purchase the pots. Now, MAC has brought out a palette with a clear lid! You can even purchase different inserts depending on what you want to use it for.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="http://www.beautezine.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/MAC-Palettes-4850.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://www.beautezine.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/MAC-Palettes-4850.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />Okay; how much more of a shiny object can you find? These look so sleek. MAC usually raises the prices every year and the pan shadows are much less expensive.<br />Overall, I really like the look of these new palettes. Tell me in the comments if you prefer palettes over pots and feel free to request a post. Make sure to follow us on twitter under the username @foreverfuchsia. Thank you for reading!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJVceKuJ4BOp0rYoDJaIO01ypemM8MbjWf8tlTCG7fZElIFjpZrcw0_1gl0Q4B0395Uecyzh6I-4tdTUvyNERC73M17DIimkIqueCtEzzNiTYzhBSztrrqDj9cbCu3bq_DHh2HnL2QhV4/s1600/signature.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJVceKuJ4BOp0rYoDJaIO01ypemM8MbjWf8tlTCG7fZElIFjpZrcw0_1gl0Q4B0395Uecyzh6I-4tdTUvyNERC73M17DIimkIqueCtEzzNiTYzhBSztrrqDj9cbCu3bq_DHh2HnL2QhV4/s1600/signature.JPG" /></a></div><br /><br /><br />Forever Fuchsiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03132207863137416554noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451986159744709261.post-73662726260990012902013-01-02T17:48:00.001-08:002013-01-02T17:52:50.239-08:00Honey and Bronze EyesHey everyone! <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/mac-treasure-hunt.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="160" src="http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/mac-treasure-hunt.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><br /> I was working on another simple neutral look and I came up with this! Keep reading to see the simple steps to achieve this.<br /><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/02/1423.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/02/s_1423.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />I started by applying a creamy yellow base all over my lid. This is Treasure Hunt paint pot by MAC.<br /><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/02/1424.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img align="right" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/02/s_1424.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />I applied MAC's Tweet Me eyeshadow to the outer half of my lid with a 239 brush to make my eyes appear larger.<br /><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/02/1425.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/02/s_1425.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />Next, I applied the Cream Color Base in Bronze for a bit of a glow. I used a BH Cosmetics Concealer brush to smudge this on the outer corner. <br /><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/02/1426.jpg"><img align="right" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/02/s_1426.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />To finish the look, apply a hunter green eyeliner to my upper lash line. I also applied fascinating eyeliner to my waterline.<br />That is it! I have a mint chocolate chip tutorial coming up, so keep an eye out for that! Tell me in the comments what posts you would like to see; I feel like I am getting into a tutorial rut. I am really excited about an upcoming event; I am finally going to indulge in a MAC haul! I have picked up random products over the past year, but I have not purchased a major "haul worthy" amount. I am loving the latest palette update... More shadows are ahead. Anyways, thank you for reading!<br /><a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/02/1427.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" height="115" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/02/s_1427.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="200" /></a><br /><br />Forever Fuchsiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03132207863137416554noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5451986159744709261.post-56048337221093043892013-01-01T14:06:00.001-08:002013-01-02T17:49:20.518-08:00MAC Color Correctors? <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Hey everyone! </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/01/2607.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" height="200" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/01/s_2607.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="200" /></a><br />
I wanted to put up a quick post talking about MAC's line of color correcting concealers. I have heard of the costal scents camo quads, but I am really curious about the MAC ones! I am contemplating the issue of ordering Pure Orange. The warm tones counteract any blue/purple tones such as dark undereye circles. Tell me in the comments if you use color correcting concealers and make sure to follow! Oh, and Happy New Year! Thank you for reading! <br />

<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2947.jpg" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2947.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
I was messing around with some blues and greens and I wanted to attempt to wear them in an everyday look. I love how it turned out; it is so much fun! Keep reading to see how I created it!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2948.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img align="right" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2948.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
<br />
Start by priming the lids with a neutral primer. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2949.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2949.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
<br />
I wanted to use a soft pink base to add a hint of shimmer, so I used the NYX jumbo shadow pencil in Yogurt. <br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2950.jpg"><img align="right" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2950.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
<br />
I used an ELF 32 color palette for the green. The color I used in the third one in on the second row.<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2951.jpg"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2951.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
<br />
I applied Steamy by MAC to the outer corner with a 239 brush. After blending Steamy out, I lined my upper lash line with Plumage and applied it to my crease as well.<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=12/12/30/2952.jpg" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img align="left" border="0" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/12/12/30/s_2952.jpg" style="margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;" /></a><br />
Apply mascara and that's it! Tell me in the comments if you have been wearing bright colors this winter. At first I thought I was crazy for trying to pull off brights, but I love it! Feel free to request a post in the comments and thanks for reading!<br />
