Fall Favorites

Hello Readers!
I am so sorry I have been absent from Forever Fuchsia, but I promise that this week I will try and post every day! So, back to the subject, fall is finally here, and with it my list of fall favorites! So let’s get started!

First off is Mac’s matte blush Melba.  This is my favorite blush for a dance or a night out, and it is versatile. If you apply it with a brush just one layer, it can be sheer and natural, but with many layers it can easily look more pigmented.  This is perfect for a school dance or a night out. Wear a thin layer to add a bit of color to your face. My favorite brush to use to apply this blush is Mac’s 129 brush because it is round, so it is easier to apply blush. I love Mac’s brushes because they are great quality and the bristles are exceptionally soft on your face.

Next is Rusted Rose from Sephora’s line of lip gloss. It is a classy rose color that can be used to add some sparkle to a look.  I love this lip gloss because it can go from daytime to nighttime with a simple swipe of lip gloss. But it does get rather watery which can get a problem if you are trying to put it on thickly, so use a matching lipstick or lip liner under this, and just use Rusted Rose to add sparkle.

Nicole by Opi’s The Next CEO is in my opinion one of the best nail polish colors made by that company.  I consider nails to be an accessory, and this is my favorite way to make nails noticeable, but not gaudy. It looks sparkly in the bottle, but when on the nails it is a light metallic gold. This nail polish rarely chips within two days, with two layers and a good top coat. This is definitely my new go to nail polish!

I know this is rather short, but if you want a Fall Favs part 2 post, comment and tell me! Also if you have any business inquires or something you want to tell the Forever Fuchsia team in private, email us at foreverfuchsia@gmail.com. Feel free to comment and tell me what your fall favorite is, what you think of these products, and posts requests!

Amazing Adele

Hello Readers!
Adele is one of the most gifted and amazing singers in the world. If you want to be like Adele, It would be almost impossible to copy her singing voice, but you can copy her makeup look! This is a tutorial on how to do the look that Adele wore to the 2012 Grammys, when she sang for the first time after getting her voice back!

First, apply Mac’s Pure White paint pot all over the lid. To do this as easily and neatly as possible, get a thick amount on the tip of your ring finger. Then dab it onto your eye lid. Don’t worry about dabbing the white onto every place on your lid, because after you do that then you can smear it around a little. This is the best way to get this white on your lid without making it look like a kindergartner’s art project. This white base really makes the eyes pop, and it will make the black eyeliner contrast really well!

Next, using a Mac 239 brush, lightly and thinly put Nylon on top of the white base, but don’t put on so much that the white base isn’t bright. For me, this was just one light layer and that was it. Make sure you don’t put on to much! Nylon is one of Mac’s best sellers, for being versatile and very pretty!

To make Adele’s signature eyeliner look, take Maybelline’s black liquid eyeliner. To do this start by making one thin line across your top lash line. Then, make the outer part of the lash line thicker than the inner part. This should lead you right into the cat eye. Put the brush at the outer part of the lower lash line and draw the cat eye upwards, then connect it to the upper lash line, fill it in and voila! Go back and fill in any parts that you might have missed.
For more information on how to make a cat eye, go to my old post How to do a Perfect Cat Eye:
http://www.foreverfuchsia.com/2012/08/how-to-do-perfect-cat-eye.html

Then,  to make big lashes that are as dark as the liquid eye liner, I used Clinique's lash doubling mascara.
It takes about 3-4 layers, but it makes your lashes super dark, long and thick!

That’s all for the eyes, but the next thing to conquer is Adele’s perfect complexion! To get this perfect skin, I used Clinique’s Tinted Skin Moisturizer in Ivory on rough spots, and then applied Maybelline’s Pure Stay Makeup Base, which is absolutely amazing. It clears up your skin, and makes it look natural. I use this every day and I love it!!!

Next, is Adele’s signature red lips. To create this look, I simply used Tart Matte Fiery Lip Tint. This stuff really works. It is a deep red color, and it goes on thickly so it’s not hard to achieve Adele’s fiery red lips!

And here is the final eye look!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment and tell me what celebrity you want me to do a makeup look for next! Also, if you haven't already done so, follow us! Bye for now,

Favorite Fall Nail Polish's

                                                              Hello Readers!
Fall is about to be here, and with it comes some new nail polish colors! Who doesn't love a deep berry color, or an elegant color that can go with anything? Keep reading to find out more!

First up is Revlon's Cherries In The Snow. This is one of my favorite nail polishes, I actually own two of them. It is perfect because it's not plain red, but it's not a bright neon pink. Cherries in the Snow is a combination of the two, which makes it my go to nail polish.

Next is Sally Hansen's Commander in Chic. Commander in Chic is sheer, so it takes a couple of coat to get the color and thickness that it looks in the bottle. To make it look more young and fun, I like to use a Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen to draw designs on it in different colors, if you want a post on different designs and ideas for the nail art pen just leave me a comment below.

Cranberry from Elf is one of my favorite nail polishes. It gives your nails that wow factor that makes people notice them. It's very sparkly and shiny, and it's opaque so it doesn't need more than two layers plus a topcoat. I have had good experiences with Elf nail polishes, they are top quality and don't chip easily.

Sally Hansen's Insta-dri Petal Pusher is a pretty light pastel color. This nail polish is very elegant, and I love to wear it for a formal occasion. This pale color compliments any skin tone nicely, and it dries fast! This nail polish would be cute with a fall dress, or a casual jeans and blouse.

Bachelorette Bash is probably the most common nail polish I wear. I love it! Bachelorette bash is shiny, opaque, and girly. This is a dark fuchsia color, or a deep berry color. Even though it has a small brush, it's easy to put on, and with a base coat, two coats, and a top coat, I guarantee no chipping for the first two days at least!

This sparkly silver topcoat from Forever 21 is sure to make your nails sparkle and shine! It looks great over a berry color, bright blue, and purple! But there are many more options too. The only problem I have ever has is taking it off. It took me half an hour to remove all of my nail polish when I put this on. But, it is defiantly worth it! If you want a post on how to easily remove glitter nail polish without ruining your nails, comment and tell me!

Comment and tell me what your favorite fall nail polish is and follow us if you haven't already! Once we get 200 followers Perfectly Pink and I will do another celebratory makeup look together! I am coming up with a cool Halloween look that should be up by the end of the week!

Glowing Golden Eyes

                                                        Hello Readers!
Today I am going to show you a fun, easy look to pull together. This is one of my favorite looks to do, because it can easily be toned down, by using a smaller amount of eyeliner, or none at all. I know its almost fall, but we haven't lost all of our summer tans yet, which is great because this look looks super chic with a tan. So let's get started!

First I took Nylon from Mac Cosmetics and applied it all over my eye lid. Nylon is one of Mac's best sellers, because it gives you the white effect, but it had a touch of gold in it. I used this color because it will be easier to blend with All That Glitters instead of Crystal Avalanche, because Nylon is closer to All That Glitters. Nylon is a frost finish.

For the main part of the look that gives it the glowing golden effect, I put All That Glitters very thickly in the outer corner and the crease. All That Glitters is also one of Mac's best sellers because it is blend-able, and versatile. It can be used in so many different looks from a summer smokey eye to a work/school look.

The eye shadow part is pretty simple, but I wanted to do something with eyeliner to give it that big wow factor. I thought of using a golden eyeliner, but that would blend in too much with All That Glitter's. So I used  Maybelline's Ultra Liner, to make a small cat eye. This liquid liner is great because it dries fast and it comes off easily with a bit of soap, but if you have sensitive skin don't use this because it can give you a rash. I made a small cat eye on the top, and then put some on the outer part of the lower lash line.

The eyeliner is very dark black, so I needed a mascara that's the same black and the eyeliner. To do this, I usually use Mac's False Lashes Masscara, but I wanted to try something new, so I used Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara in black. It makes your lashes look much longer, and thicker.

That all! Comment and tell me what your favorite Mac Cosmetics eye shadow, and why you like it! Also, if you haven't already followed us, please do so! Feel free to request a post, I would be happy to do it! Remember to check back soon, because I have a Halloween look post coming up, and my favorite fall nail polish's post coming up!

Vintage Look

Hello Readers!
Perfectly Pink and I are obsessed with a bold red lip, and I love how it just really pops. So I toned down the eye makeup, so that the red lips pop even more, and when I was done I realized it look vintage! Like in those old movies...

First, prep your eye lid with urban Decay's Primer Potion. I like to use this in all of my looks, because it keeps you eye makeup on forever, or until you take it off!

Next, take Orb from Mac Cosmetics and put it all over the lid. Its a really light tan color, its great for a simple base.It can also be put all over the lid with a swipe of mascara to create a cute look that's easy if your running late. It's a lighter color, which isthing that I love about this look is that it starts with a really light color, and we keep layering darker and darker colors.

Then put modelette in the crease. Don't put a lot in, because there is much more layering to be done in the crease after this! This is one of my favorite Mac eyeshadows, it's a great brown because it's not too light that it doesn't really make a difference, but it's not overly dark either.

Now to the same thing with Naked Lunch, just keep layering it up towards the eyebrow. But there is no need to go all the way to the eyebrow! Unless you want to of course...

Next slightly out Patina on top of that, and by putting it on top I don't mean completely covering up Patina, just keeping bringing the look towards the eyebrows. (But you don't have to go nearly that high!)

And finally, take cork and put on the final layer, and put some in the inner corner if you want. That creates a darker look, but I preferred to keep it light so I didn't put it in the inner corner. Try to keep the eye look as light as possible, so the lips will really pop.

And to finish off the eyes, you need some long black lashes! The best mascara to do this with is Mac False Lashes. It is the best mascara to get the long black dramatic lashes!

Then, to top it off with a bold lip, use Tart Fiery Matte Lip Tint. This is amazing! It is a deep bright red, it works better than any other lipstick I have ever tried... I suggest that to get a really neat line, use a lip brush, because the tip of the lip tint is rather thick. If you want to make it glossy you can add some lip gloss on top, because this is really matte.

Try taking some pictures of yourself outside with this look, you will be amazed by the results! Perfectly Pink and I did this look for some pictures and it was amazing!

How to do a French Manicure!

Hello Readers!

I love doing french manicures..... They look amazing and super hard to do! But truly with a little practice it is easy! You will look like you went to a salon and spent lots of cash getting it done, but really you have done it for barely anything at home! If you do these French Manicures, you will be sure to get lots of compliments!

First, clean your nails even if you have no nail polish on them. This will just prep your nails, and make sure they are super clean. Because with these french manicures, even the slightest dot will show up.

Next, take a bright white nail polish and draw a thin white line across the top of your nail. Try to make the line very round, like a half circle almost. Also, try to do a thin line. If you do a thick line it looks gaudy and tacky.

Then take a very light pink. I used Prima Ballerina from Essie. After you do this, your nails will appear shinier, and more feminine. Some people use a top coat instead, but it doesn't really look like a real french manicure then. Trust me.

Finally, put some nail polish remouver on a Q-tip, and go around your nail. This will get rid of any white that isn't in the right spot! It also cleans up the look and makes it look neater.

Voila! I hope you enjoy your french manicure! Just keep practicing and you will get it! Comment and tell me what your secret is to making the white line perfect! And follow us if you haven't already!

The Secret To Silky Smooth Hair

Hello Readers!
I am always looking for a way to get my hair super soft and silky. One of my favorite ways was to straighten my hair at night, and then go to sleep and when I would wake up the next morning the natural oils would have gotten in my hair so it was silky and straight. I still love to do it that way, because it does work the best so far, but I have also found an amazing shampoo!
Finesse makes amazing shampoo's that make your extremely smooth and soft! It also adds alot of volume to my hair. My hair tends to get very dry... So I use Finesse's moisturizing shampoo. It is hydrating, and I could not be happier with it! I don't even use a conditioner with this, because it is kind of like a conditioner and shampoo in one! But there is also a moisturizing shampoo that you can get.  If you try this out you will instantly see a difference, just run your hands through your hair after you put this on in the shower.  If you want to check out their website, click on this link.  http://www.finessehaircare.com/?page_id=8
But remember, if you want silky smooth hair, don't shower every night, try to do it every other day,  because this allows all of the natural oils to get in your hair! Also, don't overuse heating tools, these really dry out your hair, you can use a heat protectant, but it's always still good to let them have a rest for a little bit. Finally,  when you are using heating tools, put it on a very high setting. I know this sounds like it will dry out your hair more, but actually, when you put it on the high setting you only have to straighten/curl your hair once. If you use a lower setting, then you have to keep repeating it on your hair, which is really bad for it.

I hope this helps you get silky smooth hair! If your have any comments/questions feel free to tell me in the contacts or request a post! Also comment and tell me what your favorite shampoo is!

Back To School Makeup Part 1

Hello Readers!
School is just around the corner! This means back to those rushed mornings where we barely have time to do our makeup. Today I am going to show you some eye looks for school, that can be done in seconds, but look like you spent a long time doing it and put lots of effort into it.   I will also do Back to School Makeup #2 which will be lips, and Back To School Makeup #3 will be face.

This look is very light, and casual, but it makes your eyes really pop. For this look, put Shale from Mac Cosmetics all over the lid, and All that Glitters in the crease and inner corner. I also use Too Faced's Lashlight Mascara.

And here is the final look!
This makeup look was really hard to get a picture of and you can't really see it here, but it gives you an idea of what it will look like.
This next look would really look good with brown eyes. I will probably wear this look to school, it's one of my favorites. First put earthly all over the lid, and then apply Nylon in the crease, and the inner corner. I also used Cover girl's Two in One Mascara.

And here is the final look!

Finally, the last look for today is a look for a girl who likes to have fun, be a little crazy, and look really cool. When you hear the colors I am using you will think, only Katy Perry would wear that, but the colors are really light and subtly so it's appropriate for school. I used a purple from my Nordstrom Makeup Palette, and Electra from mac cosmetics. For this look, put the the purple all over the lid lightly, and then Electra in the crease and outer corner. I also used the Lashlight Mascara again!

And here is the final look!

Thanks for reading! I will have BTS Makeup number one and two up soon! Comment and tell me which look is your favorite, and follow us if you haven't already! Oh and sorry the pictures weren't the greatest today, I had to use another camera.

Purses and Clutches To Add Color To Your Look!

Hello Readers!
One of my favorite ways to add some color or contrast to an outfit is with purses or clutches! I absolutely love crazy and unique purses, and if you want to try out some bright and crazy purses, here is some inspiration from my own collection!

I don't like having to drag around huge purses, although I probably should get a big purse because trying to stuff everything into this small purse is a big challenge. But I love this purse, because it's hip, and works well with a cute summer dress. Sometimes I like to wear a white shirt and white shorts to make this bag really pop! It has two pockets to hold money and stuff which is great because it's too small to fit a normal sized wallet inside. I got this at Old Navy.

This is my favorite purse ever!!!!!! My sister got me it yesterday for my birthday. #Bestsisterever. I have been carrying it around all day because I can't stand to put it down! It's crazy, but elegant at the same kind. It's not that big, it's about the size of a large pancake, but it's just big enough to hold some cash and credit cards. It's from Pink Bungalow.

And finally is this blue clutch from Sephora. It's elegant, it is a blue snakeskin pattern, with a gold sign on the front that says Yuma Bella. The strap you can see in the picture is removable. This would go great with a plain dress to add a pop of color, or a bright summer outfit! The gold sign on the front and the gold zippers really had a touch of sophistication to this clutch and make it wearable for a fancy party or something.
