When was the first time you played with a camera? I was thinking back to my first camera experience when I was working on the settings of my own personal Canon. As a blogger, pictures are extremely important. Beauty blogging does take some time, and most of that time is dedicated to pictures. Capturing the slight glow of a cheek highlight or the daring boldness of a red lip can be challenging. I am the first person to admit that pictures take a lot of effort. Sure, getting the entire family to stay put for more than three seconds on Easter is tough, but you get a memory to cherish for a lifetime out of that one picture.
Even though the pictures I take for the blog are typically close up's, they show every little detail. Every shadow, highlight, and flaw is put on display. To me, it is worth it.
If I have helped one person out with any makeup questions or concerns, than I am fulfilling my position. I have documented every tip and trick I have found in the past year on this website. I am so thankful for each and every one of you, thank you so much for everything you do.
Here are a few of the photos that I have taken in the past month or so:

I just wanted to post this as a reminder to appreciate all that life has to offer. I know that I still have so much to learn and experience, but I promise I will continue sharing it all! Tell me in the comments if photography influences your life, and if so, how? Thank you so much for reading!

This is so inspiring! You made my day. :) the first time I messed around with a camera was when I was about six and I have loved it ever since! The pics are gorgeous by the way, what filters did you use?
