Haul & New Picture Background

Is it just me, or is the thrill of shopping the best feeling in the world?

I am back again with yet another haul. This one is different than most because there is something new about the pictures. I attempt to deliver the best quality of pictures I can, but it usually involves a white background. These are slightly tweaked compared to my old ones! Enjoy the view! :)

The first product I purchased was MAC's Antiqued Diamond Paint Pot.

I have had my eye on this for a while but never got the chance to buy it. Expect some tutorials coming soon!

I was looking through my collection as I reorganized it and realized that I was missing a key staple. Yes, I did not have Satin Taupe in my collection (Cue the shocked gasps). Can we just take a minute to admire the top shot of this product? I was freaking out that Satin Taupe was going to tip over the side of the railing! It was the only way to show the shimmer in the product without using flash. No worries, it is still happily in one piece.

You can see how I had a little too much fun in some of these pictures... I know the extra shadows and all may not have been necessary, but it was so amusing just to try out a few different angles.

The last product from MAC is Beautiful Iris.

This is another classic that I was surprised I didn't have. It reminds me a bit of Vellum but with a much stronger purple base.

Moving on to Lush! This is the Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. It is like a moisturizer that you rinse off instead of leave on.

The beloved Dream Cream was a must have. This stuff is a miracle worker, seriously.

My favorite product at Lush would have to be the Honey I Washed The Kids soap. Some say it smells like honey, I say it smells like heaven.

The last product from lush is a bar of Fun. Literally, it is called fun. This is a soap/bath bomb/shampoo/play dough kind of product. Did I mention it is multi-purpose?

H&M was one of my favorite places. These floral shoes are not only perfect for spring, but also super comfy.

I have been purchasing patterned shorts left and right. I play it safe too often when it comes to printed bottoms, so I decided to go with more of a subtle top for spring. These plain tee shirts will be perfect when I want to pull of patterns and prints.

Last but not least, I present to you an impulse buy. I know, you may be wondering where I plan on wearing pink hair. Like all of my other insane outfit ideas, I'm going to just make it work. I will just play around with these for now, but who knows, I might be seen with flowing pink hair someday.

Tell me in the comments what you have purchased lately! Also, tell me what you think about the background. Do you like something a bit more interesting? I love it; I think the scenery adds so much to the photos.

OOTD's are coming soon! Thanks for reading!

Forever 21 and MAC Haul!

I'm Excited.

Then again, when am I not excited? I am on a super excitement energy high, aka, a shopping high. I haven't purchased any "large" quantity of things at once in a while. I am in love with every single thing that I purchased; keep reading to see what I got!

The first product that I purchased was Vibrant Grape from MAC. I couldn't believe that I didn't have this color already! I love fun colors that can be used as a base for a soft smokey look. This will be so much fun for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

The next color from MAC is Girlie. I purchased this to wear along with Vibrant Grape as a highlight. I am going to apply this to the inner half of the lid, Vibrant grape on the rest of the lid, and then smoke it out with Sushi Flower. Look for a more detailed post soon!

This is not anything major, but I purchased another Select Coverup. This is my third tube of this product. I transition in between NC and NW depending on where I am applying it. I decided to pick up another NW20 because I wanted something to mix in for my under eye concealer routine. I found the most amazing brush that works so well with this; I have been working on a dry brushing technique.

If you have seen any of my previous posts, you may know that I adore MAC paint pots. I was so excited to see that they came out with a new long wearing collection of paint pots! I decided on a neutral peach with specks of gold glitter in the shade Let Me Pop. This will be so pretty as an overall wash of color on the lid in the summer.

I couldn't leave MAC without purchasing something from the Archie's Girls collection! I did not go to MAC in search of an eyeliner, but I was instantly drawn in to this part of the collection. I have to admit, the packaging had something to do with it... I purchased this mainly because of the packaging, but when I tried it, I was shocked. Wow. This glides on so smoothly! I always strayed away from pencil liners because the tend to tug on my lash line which can lead to pre-mature wrinkles. These eyeliners have changed my mind!

The first item that I got from Forever 21 is one of their nail polishes. I have tried out a few various shades and I love them. For $2.80, how can you go wrong? The shimmer in this color drew me in.

Every single item in that store is strategically placed. I attempted to stay away from the headband section. From the looks of this multi-colored stretch headband, I did not succeed.

I couldn't help it. So. Shiny. I loved the tropical print in this. I have a bad habit of overusing heat on my hair. I have been trying to figure out ways to looks polished and complete without having to curl/straighten it. Hopefully headbands are the answer!

Last headband, I promise! I loved the Greek Goddess feel this had. The thin braided gold intertwined with the cream can put a classical twist on any outfit.

I needed a slim belt to cinch in my oversized tops. I went with a lighter brown instead of black for spring. I loved the triangular detailing along with the gold.

I may have a flower addiction. Every time I go into that store I have to pick up at least one of the pins. I love wearing these with my hair in loose waves along with bangles, beachy and wooden, adorning my wrist. Sounds dreamy, right?

My white capri's have been found! I purchased this adorable top from target a while ago. I was navy with white dots all over it. I have found that it looks too harsh with jeans, so I needed something white. I love the zipper detailing on these; I can't wait to wear them!

I wanted to pick up a pair of dark wash jean shorts. These are just the basic style; I wanted to get them a little small because Forever 21 tends to run smaller on me. These are my spring fitspo; I am determined to get become tones up by summer!

As I stated in the other shorts, I needed new ones. I wanted to purchase something that was in a light wash fabric. I loved the cuffed effect on these; look for new outfit of the day posts!

Like I said before, everything in that store is strategically placed. I was ready to check out and the sale rack was right next to me. Needless to say, I took a few more minutes before I finally wrapped up my purchase! This coral top convinced me to purchase it with its buttons and very agreeable price tag.

The last item that I purchased it this lime spring green top. It is a bit loose intentionally, so I will utilize the belt to cinch it in at the waist.

That is everything that I purchased! Make sure to follow and tell me in the comments what your latest shopping purchases have been. Thank you for reading!

Ulta Haul!

Hey Everyone!
I was looking through my older posts for hauls, and much to my dismay, I couldn't find any! My last one was sometime in the past spring, so I decided to try out another one. I took advantage of Ulta's 40% off sale on NYX Cosmetics, and this is what I purchased!
Product: NYX HD Foundation
I first picked up the NYX HD foundation in Soft Beige. I picked this up to review it, so expect a more detailed post soon! This would be comparable to MAC's NC20, and it does have a strong warm undertone to it. This will be a great addition to my fall/winter foundation stash; I cannot wait to test it out!

Product: NYX Matte But Not Flat
I decided to purchase the Matte But Not Flat powder because I loved the concept behind it. This pressed powder can be used as a foundation or a setting power. I have been trying to conquer the flat look of powder ever since I discovered it, this may be my next solution. This is about one shade light on me, so it will work for brightening up under my eyes as well.

Product: NYX HD Studio Primer
The HD Studio Primer was an essential for me because I am almost out of my Smashbox Photofinish. I tested this out on the back of my hand and it has an interesting sheen to it, but it was very moisturizing. This is on my review list, I love the HD concept of the product.

Product: Revlon Photoready Primer
Okay, maybe I went a little overboard on my primer crisis... I wanted to compare the HD formula to the Photo Ready; they both have the idea of looking perfect in pictures. My first reaction to this is the "second skin" feeling it has. This primer had  a silky smooth texture to it, which is necessary in increasing the wear-time of your foundation.

Product: NYX HD Concealer
I must have been in love with the HD form of produts when I purchased the NYX HD Concealer! This has a doe-foot applicater on a wand, and I purchased it in Fair. This is a little light on me, but it is the perfect shade to use on undereye circles. My first thoughts on this are pretty good; it seems blendable but it may be prone to creasing.

Product: NYX Round Case Lipstick
I have been searching for my go-to fall lip color, but you can never go wrong with a nude lip. I decided to go with the NYX Round Case Lipstick in Creamy Beige because it is the perfect "your lip color but better" shade. Creamy Beige has the finest specks of shimmer in it, which will act as a lip highlighter.

Product: NYX Slim Lip Pencil
The NYX Lip Pencils are so inexpensive, I decided to throw in a different shade to play around with. Nude Beige is a soft brown with a grey undertone, but it will be the perfect base to layer a brighter gloss over. This shade is going to be perfect for fall, expect a tutorial coming soon!

Product: NYX Slim Lip Pencil
Even though deeper colors are in for fall, I decided to pick up the Pumpkin Lip Pencil for a fun Halloween look. This would work as a brighter color in the spring and summer, but when paired with the right gloss, it can be a beautiful shade for fall.

Products: Ulta Samples
Ulta is apparently starting up a sample program like Sephora's. They have converted to an easier to understand rewards system, and have updated their website. I chose the Ojon Hair Mask, Biore Ice Cleanser, and the Tea Tree Facial Wash. I am really excited to test out the hair mask; I have tried out Ojon's skin care products but I have never tested their hair line.
That concludes my haul! Even though it was not a ton of products, I wanted to write up a quick post to share a glimps of my latest product range that I will be working with for fall. Feel free to request reviews in the comments, and tell me what you think of the latest Ulta website. Thanks for reading!

Back To School Accessories

Hey Everyone!

Today's post is on my favorite accessories to kick off the school year with. These are great to add on to your school wardrobe and your everyday one. I have been finding a lot of neutrals for fall that will work with any outfit, so I hope this will give you some inspiration in your back to school style!

Tote Bag: My first tip is to add some different textures to your outfits. I decided to use an ostrich print bag for an everyday tote. This is huge, so I can carry anything I need to with ease. This has braided handles and security clasps on the edges to lock into place when you are on the go, so it is the perfect option for the girl on the go.

The Basic Belt: My next must have is a preppy looking belt. These are the secret to adding the extra touch to your outfit, they define your waist and can spice up a basic tee. I usually get these in a smaller size so I can wear them around my waist, and this is one of my favorites. It is basic and simple, but it is an easy way to add a little color to an outfit as well if you want to go bold.

Classic Headbands: The easiest way to fix a bad hair day and add a touch of glitz to your outfit is to add an adorable headband! I can throw my hair back into a messy bun and save my horrid hair day with this. Make sure to tease your hair a little in the back before you add one of these to create a little more volume.

Fall Scarves: Because we are heading into fall, adding a silky scarf can really dress up any basic outfit. This is one of my favorite DKNY scarves, I wore it all the time. There are so many different styles that you can do with these, the possibilities are endless!

Neutral Flats: Flats are my go-to shoe in the fall because they are cute and comfortable. It is great to have a basic pair of neutral flats in your wardrobe because you can pair them with just about anything. These are my Coach flats, and they kind of blend in with the background! They are a really soft golden beige, which is a fun twist on the typical neutral.

That is my quick update on my favorite basics to wear everyday! I love adding in a couple of unique pieces every season, and these are some of my favorites. Tell me in the comments what your fall color palette is for accessories, and make sure to follow. Thanks for reading!

Target Haul!

Hey Everyone!

I was at Target today, and my first stop was the beauty area. Where else would I be? Anyways, I found some of my favorite products that I needed to repurchase, and I got some new ones to test out. Here are my new favorites!
My first product I picked up was the Clean and Clear morning burst skin brightening facial cleanser. I picked this up a while ago and I loved it, but I never got the chance to get another one. It caught my eye on the shelf, so I decided to get it. I really loved this because of the scent, it is so fresh and a little bit fruity, which is an awesome blend! This cleanser has little beads that are supposed to "awaken" your skin, but for me they just dissolve. The only problem I had with this was it made my skin a little tight, but after moisturizing, it was fine. Overall, this is still one of my favorites.

I decided to go ahead and get another set of my favorite Ardell lashes, these are the 105 black false eyelashes. I got these to mess around with, I have been working on making my eyes look bigger by using false lashes, so expect a post soon!

I was all out of my Redken Heat Protectant, so I got the Got2b guardian angel heat protectant. When I spray it on, I focus more on the ends and then move up, and then I brush through it to make sure it is evenly distributed.

I wanted a soft lavender to pair with my mac Bronze CCB, so I decided to get the Elf studio cream eyeshadow in Dawn. I was obsessed with these, they stayed on so long! I usually apply these with a 252 Mac brush, and then blend it out with a 217.

Next, I got the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain in Forbidden. I wanted something that I could layer products with, so I got this as a base. I love the color, it is like a soft reddish pink. I was using my Nyx lip liner in Peekaboo Neutral as a base 24/7, so I needed to give it a break!

I wanted a new top for tennis, so I picked up the C9 by Champion Pull Over top. I love these because you can actually breath in the summer weather, and you don't have to wear anything underneath them! I got it in the bright blue, and I am going to pair it with my white tennis skirt. I should do a workout outfit of the day!

I also got one of the C9 shirts in lime green. This one is fun because you mostly see whites in tennis, so I like to mix it up with a zesty lime!

And that is my haul! Make sure to follow and comment down below and tell me what your favorite workout top is. Make sure to follow if you haven't already, and thanks for reading!
